my omaha hi experience is limited so forgive me if im being naive
but wouldnt he repot it preflop after your raise if he had aces?
Possibly, but that would announce his hand quite clearly. If a repot with AAxx will get over 75% of your stack in preflop you are rarely wrong in doing so. The problem is that Aces are very tricky to play postflop unless you hit a set, and even then if you have reraised preflop it is quite easy for someone to put you on your exact hand.

Call? Really?
I raise preflop.
He check-raises me on flop to put me all in.
Which hands do you put him on?
If he has AAxx you likely have a live flush draw and you also cut down on the number of boat outs he has because of your set. If that is the case, you are about 33%, which is close to breakeven pot odds.
If he has a wrap straight + flush draw you hold two spades (and he even could have 9s7s which would be fantastic) and you hold two 10s which cut down on his number of outs.
I am unsure of what UTG could have.
I think it's pretty close, but without a read I call/shove.
