The following link is too a trailer I saw while sitting in the theater waiting too see Children of Men, which by the way I found to be an excellent picture. This trailer is for a new movie coming out with Eric Bana... about Texas Hold'em, and has to be the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. Now I realize I posted earlier about Casino Royale and not being completely accurate to the subject matter... but I think this trailer says enough trash to make me want to hurl.

Watch it, but some of my favorite lines are:

Black Guy: You raised me with nuttin?
Bana: Sometimes nothings enough.

Okay, what limit is this? .10c/.20c? Who talks like this? I swear I think the Oreo's are going to make an appearance in this movie.

This movie should be avoided like the plague. Or could be a good comedy if a group of poker buddies went to see it.

This looks terrible. I can't see anyone actually wanting to see this. It's like a mix between a chick flick and a buddy movie, but with the worst aspects of each combined.....

Hey, come on, Doyle and Greenstein are in it (most likely more pros make an appearance), I can't avoid that sh*t no matter how bad it's gonna be. Worst case scenario I'll have a good laugh watching it.

lol @ him has father obviously being headsup at the final table of the WSOP ME, but no mainstream poker movie can ever be worse than Shade. This one might actually be halfway decent although it looks pretty corny.

And then....when the trailer couldn't possibly get worse (you think)...he looks at his girlfriend and says....(wait for it)..."I'm all-in"

Hollywood does it again. Take something cool, (poker, jets, baseball, NASCAR) and turns it into a chick flick. Tricks the boyfriend into thinking he's going to see a movie for himself, when really he's just taking his girl to a chick flick.

You know, of course, DN's in the movie. Of course, I want to see it!!

If the movie didn't look so ineptly done, I'd consider it a hommage. Paul Newman is going to firebomb the theatre when they hold the premier.

no, the guys that made tilt wasn't horrible. they made rounders so they can't be too horrible. the premise was horrible.

michael madsen was believable, as was eddie cibrian. daniel was a better than i expected.

t.j., phil hellmuth, and david williams was completely unbelievable as people in their roles...as themselves, go figure (which really shocks me since david williams already had some acting experience :icon_zing: )

Don't forget Pearl Harbor. That was awesome the first time around.
