You are getting confused by the way that the software displays the prize pool.

You need to add together the 2 amounts to get the total. In your example first is still
getting $250, $133.25 from the money put in by players and $116.75 from the guaranteed
amount.

The tournament isn't $1000 added but has a $1000 guarantee so the amount of money added
goes down as players rebuy and addon.

I hope this makes sense to you.
