Just another in a long line of me getting my money in with the best hand only to get sucked out on. Fck you.
JJ < 55
Blinds 600/1200, ante 75, 9 person table, me in LP (1 short of hijack). A big stack raised to 3600, I go all in for almost 9K, knowing full well I was going to get looked up. All else fold, BS turns up 55, board comes 2-4-5 or something like that. So, not only am I, once again, effed by a set (it seems to screw me very, very often when I have an overpair), the board comes down giving this guy str8 possibilities also. I mean, just how fckn much help did this guy need from Stars?
BS.

I hear'sk ya. Sucks.
My cash session the other day:
JJ<AJ
set of Queens < 24 sooooooooooted on river
KK<QQ
AJ<A8
QQ<JJ
JJ<A8o
I think that was all of them. Got so many good hands I couldn't believe it. I think two of them held up.
(Sorry, I know this sounds just like a Stars support email. "Thanks for writing us, it is always important to hear from our players. The other day myself, at a brick and mortar........")

Yep...
JJ vs 55 is, what, 80/20? My brain has convinced me that I get setted when I get all my chips in with the best hand. As often as not, the cards will find more creative ways to beat me, like a backdoor flush or str8, when I have KK vs AQ, for example. Fckn drama.
I'll get over it when I win a big tourney. I don't think I'm doing much wrong, either, just getting sucked out on. Maybe it'll keep happening until I'm completely impervious to the pain.

Lmao, I think the same thing all the time. Stars screwed me a few times, as posted in this forum.
