Some analysis, if you're interested:
1. Fold preflop. QJ85 with a single suit is a deceptively bad hand.
2. Bet the flop. Checking isnt too bad, but you've hit about as nice a flop as you are going to get with that hand. Why not bet it?
3. Don't bet the turn. If you had no draw at all I wouldnt mind it, but a lot of rivers can help you.
4. If you do bet the turn, don't bet pot. Betting $5 has the same effect and saves 6.3xbb.
5. Given that you bet the turn, bet the river. Every draw missed, a 9 would have to fold and it's unlikely he would check a boat on the turn and river. This is an excellent opportunity to steal with a 2/3 pot bet.

Since I am confused about who we are the only things I can see are fold preflop, we don't want to be playing a 3card hand, and then maybe bet the flop.
