LOL for Kaigorodov. With Lisin in tow, Coyotes are collecting homesick Russians now?

Thought it was a strange move until:

"Comrie scored 30 goals last year for the Phoenix Coyotes, but made it clear to Coyotes management he would be testing the free agent market this summer."

Good for the sens; bad for my FCHL team I think.

I think this is a sign of things to come the Coyotes took a long shot at a prospect but dumped Comrie's salary of 3 million. Comrie isnt worth the salary and this gives them room to take on more salary which will be an advantage for them later on. Id say this is a good deal for both teams.

Question I want to know is if Comrie will get significant power play time? If he does, it is a help to my FCHL team. If not, I am not so sure.

The talking heads (on the local sports radio) seem to think the lines will shake out as:

Heatley - Spezza - Alfie
Vermette - Comrie - Eaves
Schaefer - Fisher - Neil
McAmmond - Kelly - (McGrattan / Hamel)

With Comrie being an offensive player I would suspect he'll get PP time. Btw, Ottawa only has a middle of the pack PP this year so far 14th (vs 27th for Phoenix)

Though for tonight it will be Schaefer - Comrie - Neil while he gets adjusted. And I still think in the long run that mgmt will want to split up the Bank/Pizza line to add more depth.
