This is NOT a bad beat... you raise 4x the big blind in early position with a low pocket pair, miss the flop, push with overs out there and you're pissed you were called with AK against someone who had you covered by quite a bit?? I'm not going into anymore details... its just a bit funny

yeah, that M of a 7 just screams waiting for AA or KK
despite what you may think he was ahead until the turn...in other words...bad beat
you really need to look in the mirror before you call someone a dumba

AK vs 55 is not a bad beat.. just because it happened on the turn doesn't allow it to slip into the bad beat section..
If you guys think thats a bad beat, you're pathetic, plain and simple... I'm done with this

You called heads, it landed on tails. And lost your stack in the process.

Yeah, the money only went in as a 3-1 favorite, that isnt bad at all, hell, 3-1 is basically a coin flip right?

so if the flop came 55K and they got it allin and the turn and river came K, K...thats not a bad beat? 989-1 is not a bad beat cause it was a coinflip preflop even though the money went in on the turn

I guarantee you if you and I played a game for $10 a hand, you have AKo every single hand and I have pocket 5's every single hand, that I would end up with all of your money.
If you keep playing AKo against pocket 5's every time, then you will end up losing in the long run. Hell pocket ducks would win out in the long run against AKo
