So last night me and my brother in law and cousin go down to the local poker room in Fresno California...I decide to wear my Leafs jersey as I sometimes like to do when I am playing poker...So I sit down at the table and after a few hands my neighbour in seat 4 goes" Hey you are wearing the Daniel Negreanu jersey"..I laugh and say no this is a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey...Then he goes oh you are from Toronto you must know Daniel....then i said well there are 4 million people in Toronto but as it happens yes I do know him as we have been involved in this hockey pool for a long time..Then we had a whole discussion about our hockey pool and I believe he is following our ticker tonight to see who wins..

The games in Fresno are very soft...the 15-30 game is a goldmine along with a 4-200 spread limit game they have...If I can convince my wife , and it works financially we might come here 6 months of the year...Work a real job in Toronto for 6 months and grind the 15-30 and 20-40 game for 6 months..We love the California life style as much we love Toronto , the west coast is amazing...

Would you guys believe that story happens to me both in Ireland & when I am in contract out on the ships! There is a sports network that runs hockey all night over here! 90% of the time it's the Leafs on CBC broadcast...I turn the TV on the other night and there is Don Cherry and Ron Maclean on Coaches Corner! Excellent!
It's very strange to walk around Dublin and see people wearing Hocky Jerseys! It's all the rage here. Weird...
On the ships though, most of the Casino staff are poker crazy, cash games every night! Inevitably they find out either a) I know Daniel. or
They find out I'm a Magician! strangely, all of a sudden I NEVER know where the games are anymore! LOL
