I thought it was interesting showing more hands, and the obvious fact that neither Seed nor Hansen has any clue how to read the other. I don't remember how many times it went small raise or limp and then check the whole way down. Really kind of uneventful, and it showed me one thing- these guys play very, very tight. How many hands did Duke actually play?
Another weird thing was when she was counting her outs she had to be corrected, and Gus told her how many she actually had. She looked tired,no doubt, but shouldn't knowing your outs be kind of automatic? Then, the question is, how much does she really play? Not that I really care, but her play kind of reminded me of someone who hasn't played in awhile, and just decides to play tight and see what the cards bring. Nothing special.

well, i'm sure he thought they were out of line when he was trying to make a big decision, but everybody else realized that they were doing nothing wrong.
It reminded me of poker superstars 3 when Phil went off on Matusow and said something like 'you can only talk if its about the weather"

I am about a week behind in watching the show. The first week with phil and gus gave me a headache. I am watching the second week now and really enjoy it. I find gabe kaplan and david funny as hell. Did you guys notice david grey and the mouth wear the same type of necklace.
Another that has been said time and time again doyle is one amazing man. Before I always wanted to have lunch with babe ruth just to hear all of his stories but more and more I would just love to hear the stories that doyle would say. It's like every time a certain hand comes he has a story about it. He is like a personal history book. not too mention he just seems like a pretty nice guy.

I have to say that this has been my favorite week so far, and I've caught all the episodes. The table banter is fun to watch and very playful. Some of the pestering and whining in past weeks has been pretty annoying. I have to say that Phil Laak has been very good for the show - the dynamic that he and Antonio have is good for TV. Not to mention, that call with Kings was sick.

The Laak-Esfandiari-Hellmuth dynamic definitely made the table more fun this week. The only wet blanket was Seidel (not that I hold it against him as a player).

Konik was pretty pissed all week now he's happy and talking and singing.
The Stu Ungar and Jack Straus stories were awesome.
The play isn't any worse than what you see on non-blockbuster poker shows.
I'm just excited that its been new episodes after last week. Insomnia and poker go good together.
