Just wondering but how do guys like Ovechkin and Crosby have starting contracts at $6.00? Or what was it last year?

Drafted as underagers so their salaries started at $3 when they were called up and then were etermined based on the scale we use.

How does Ovechkin's salary increase the next year 100% though?

it only goes from $6 to $7.25, which is 20% i think.

I would look at the FCHL PM, but the damn FCHL site is so slow today!

It was 3.00 in the first year and I believed it increased 40% for the first year, or a minimum increase of 2.00. That brings it to 5.00 for his second season. In season three I think it's 20% to 6.00.
