Full Version: Question About A Strange Play
FCP Poker Forum > Poker Strategy Forum > Limit Texas Hold'em
Viper_13
My hand played itself. My opponent played the hand in a way I haven't seen. Has anyone come across this, and if so, does it tend to be a certain type of hand or just a mad bluff?

I've played about 65 hands at this table and MP2 hasn't drawn my attention. Meaning he hasn't played a ton of pots, hasn't been really aggressive, and hasn't done anything nutty in the hands he's been involved with.

did he have a Ten?

I'm guess he didn't want to give you any free cards.

I can't say what he would do that with on that board.

AT maybe and he's just decided that this is his pot? Like you said, your hand played itself, what else could you have done?

I hate/love players like this.

Depends on my mood/table image/how I'm running/etc.
