.25/.5 Bodog 8 handed

Preflop: hero in sb: k icon_suit_diamond.gif 9 :diamond

Action: utg raises, 5 fold, hero calls, bb calls

flop: k icon_suit_club.gif 7 icon_suit_club.gif 2 icon_suit_heart.gif

Whats my play on this flop?

Ok now utg is someone i have played a lot against. He raised preflop the last few hands and his opening utg doesnt mean strength. His range is Ax, Kx any pockets and probably most suited cards

Whats my plan for this hand?

Pretty really easy c/r given our relative position.

I'm assuming a player like this is going to c-bet 100% of the time here, right?

I would fold preflop even against an aggressive raiser. 3-betting is better than just calling too.

After I fold I move seats to get position on the maniac.

As played eazypeazy c/r.

Why is three betting with K9s in SB better than calling ?

c/r flop, for sure

ok so i c/r, bb folds, villain 3bets?

Is this capable against a him or go into calldown mode?

Take control of the hand. Play heads up with dead money in the pot.

Yeah, it's ok if you know that the villain will raise with a range that we have an equity edge against. It doesn't help much, IMO to have the lead OOP against a maniac.

I'd rather just call, hit a hand, and let him hang himself.

i agree...on the button i think a 3bet against this aggro is good...oop i dont think is strong enough

I'm with Zach, too.

And if this guy is not aggro-donk post flop, I'd be folding the turn UI.

guy is a donk all around

any thought to cappin the flop when he 3bets? or is it better just to call?
Actuary
all depends on what that does if he is drawing slim and what it means if he still keeps firing.
if you get no useful info by capping and he slows down/folds worse hands, I'd not cap.
