with top two and a nf draw, i actually shove the flop to try to fold a naked low draw and go after the whole thing with a lot of equity. only thing that has you crushed is a set and low, which on that board would be a retarded hand to play. you're ahead of a LOT of stuff that could make that move (low draw/fd, top two no help, top/bottom with a low, etc.)

but then again, i play almost every hand in plo8, so....

No?

But what about a repot?

EDIT: And as I decide to read responses....

Agree'd ^

I'm wondering why you checked the river. You're going to call down a bet for your last $20, so why not put it in in case the all-in player filled up?

What?

I'm repotting the shizzite out of the flop. Fold, really? Is it just stinging because somebody (or both of them) filled up on the river?

The one who potted you on the pot is quite likely that he's either ahead of you or you two are on the coin-flip on the high, and he may have some emergency low backups. Eitherway he's not going anywhere if you repot it since his stack is low.

Should you just call and allow the low chasers to join? I think so and the more the better. If the turn bricks you can bet more than what MP2 had left so even if you lost to MP2 but you can still get UTG & MP1 to chase for the lows to recover your lost.

I don't think I can fold on the flop here, call or raise is a tough one. Call is my preference.

I think I should have left the river card off my original post. oops

My hand is a totally retarded hand PF and I would only be seeing a flop from the BB, SB and late position with a lot of callers.

Anyhow,

On the flop, I bet out a trivial amount to build the pot and give someone a chance to raise. I didn't expect a pot sized re-raise and actually had to use the clock to do some quick thinking.

The beauty of H/L is how complex it can really be.

My thoughts on the flop:

MP+2 has a set with a low or re-draw potential. The problem is that I hate playing for the naked high with a 2 low flop.

I consider folding, this is fine since I don't have a lot invested in the pot and no low draw.

When I called, I'm hoping everyone behind me calls also. If they don't, then I think it's a mistake.

The turn and river play themselves.
