This is kind of a tough one, b/c you have all of your FH outs in your hand. As a rule I try not to lose a lot w/ bottom set in PLO, and this seems like a hand where you're going to have a tough time improving as there are only 2 Qs, 2 Js and 1T left and if villian doesn't already have the straight he's likely got your outs. It sucks, but I don't know how you can move forward w/ this hand.

why no more action preflop?

if he is that loose i say call and see what happens on the turn. if he has the low straight would he fold to a half-pot on the turn?

i think that is usually a fold though. sucks that you dont even have a gutshot at the broadway to go along with your set.

Yeah. Well, I was steaming from watching about four hours of hands go by with no connections whatsover, and I had seen this guy push his chips three times with top two in Omaha hi, so I called it.

He flips over the broadway, turn is an A that also brings me a flush draw and an outside shot at a broadway chop, but the river is a brick.

I really think this hand is read dependent.

As soon as I read loose player, I thought, repot it.

If this guy is loose, and with not alot of action PF, and the checks infront of him, he could be moving in with top two, oesd, and just about anything else.

Calling gives him the chance for the card, while repotting makes him pay two bets.

Also, I am confused with the pf action. Is it everyone is in for $20, or is the pot $20?

What's the total sum of drinks consumed by you and drinks consumed by villian? If it's over 6, I say it's a push. Otherwise, fold.

He was really loose. This was about two hours into a new pot limit game. Before that I HAD been sitting with him and he was calling gutshot draws and hitting them at a 1/2 table. He'd run up to $2k and when the pot limit game opened, we both moved over to it. At this point, he'd busted out already twice at pot limit (I think it was twice) following the same routine.

It really put me in a spot.

Iggy, six players in for $20 preflop.

I think if he is as loose as you really say he is, it a -ev play if we do not repot it. We need to make him pay to hit, everyone hits a hand, but this guy is throwing money in with the 2nd best hand more than not.

If that made sense, awesome.
