raise flop?

As the obvious new guy I am going to give my newbie logic.

I would fold after turn

For high:
you are drawing to a dumb end of the low straight and a gs, and if villian has diamonds your draws are less.

For low you are drawing for a possible 1/4. You have $6 invested preflop, as we see by the river you have invested $80 to protect your $6 and you are still drawing for probably 1/2 the pot.

The only cards that give you a scoop is the non diamond queen.

A 4 diamond could give you a nice quarter after he pots again and you call.

Let it go after turn, without help on turn like As you are paying to split most likely.

Feel free to correct me.

dude, wheel wrap.

on turn, wheel wrap + broadway gutshot.

i hate the diamonds.

he raised from the blinds. aces 90% of the time here.

i felt so stupid folding to his $3 bet on the river. i just wanted to call with my at high getting a gazilion to one because it cant be that bad of a call right?

----

on the flop

if he has a hand like aa69 with diamonds im flipping.

give him aa2x with diamonds im like 70/30

if has has like aa64 with diamonds im 60/40

aa64 no diamonds 57/43
aa62 no diamonds 65/35
aa69 no diamonds im ahead 58/42

so im usually behind but with stacks that big and him being a big sucky payoff artist folding the flop would be stupid.

the turn though i pick up 3 extra lock outs and 1 maybe. since there is no money left im never getting bluffed off a flush card.

i really dont know if i should be calling that turn. im getting 2 to 1 am i ever really that far behind?

SB is allin on the turn, right?

Pretty close. I'm probably leaning toward a fold..can't imagine there are a ton of outs for your low/wheel out there.

yes.

that is a very good point about my outs being taken. the button probobly had the other ace at least and maybe another 2.

I'm with you on flop, but turn his bet seems to price you out.

Seems chasing lows is how I lose most of my money, throwing good money after bad draws.

I figure if I always have nut highs, I will always be winner

but if I always only have nut low I will be even at best.

So I might chase a high wrap draw, but not a low wrap draw, even a wheel, against one player.

Push flop or fold turn, I believe it is that simple (many times flipping, sometimes slightly ahead, sometimes slightly behind, very unlikely but sometimes dominated). You're almost never flipping on this turn however, you're drawing with at best a 60/40 dog (likely worse &/or he has some of your outs) with very little/no implied odds.
