Balloon Guy has $44.87
villian has $127.34

dealt to Balloon Guy UTG+1 (Q icon_suit_club.gif K icon_suit_heart.gif T icon_suit_heart.gif J icon_suit_diamond.gif)

UTG calls

I clicked pot and raise and found my pot bet didn't hit right so I end up with a raise to $2

4 callers pot [$11]

flop [9 icon_suit_spade.gif 3 icon_suit_club.gif Q icon_suit_heart.gif ]

check I pot [$11.50]

villian pots back $34.50

My play call all in or fold?

top end of a wrap, top pair and back door flush. Is this a standard call all in or can I assume I'm up against QQ or 99 and fold here?

My min raise really screwed up me identifiying other players much.

You're between 41% and 49% to win the high if you're against the worst case scenario (a set) depending on which set he has. If he has a viable low (he more than likely does, unless he was on something like A33K), your EE is between 37% and 44% or so in those worst case, but most likely, scenarios. In short, you're priced in based on your flop pot. If your position is good, I don't hate checking behind to see what comes off on the turn. Then you can get away from the hand for $2 instead of slightly worse than a coin flip for $45 (assuming worst case scenario). If you do hit the turn hard, you're probably still getting paid off if he has a set.

Your stack is low, you have dead money in the pot, and you are out of position.

You have 70% chance against a set but it's about a coin flip, and you have 30% chance against similar but could be inferior draws and that makes you from a slight favorite to big favorite.

What are you waiting for?

Early in a tourney i can fold this, cash game i am going to call here. I like having the top pair, my money is on he has a weak set or a lower wrap, top two could be a possibility as well, either way you are in good shape with how much money you already have in there.
checkymcfold
i instacall.

you're not far behind a set, and if he has 2p you're looking at an insane number of redraw outs and are possibly WAY ahead.

I did call, villian had A299, which is about the worst I could expect, we chopped when he made low and I made a heart flush.

I kind of made this play by 'feel' meaning I didn't know the numbers but it seems a high wrap like this with little low possiblities is a good one to try to pick up right away.

yeah, the first set of odds i ran was exactly A299 vs your hand, and your EE was the mid - low 40s, obv enough to put it in. good instinct, etc.
