I love the flop bet.

I check behind on the turn though.

As played, I check the river through also.

if you check turn, do you call a river bet?
why you check turn?
kkot
If it goes bet, call I would fold the river for sure.

Against unknowns, I think I fold to a bet from either blind.

I freeze up against multiple players when an ace comes out, especially at lower limits.

I think I have a problem with folding too many rivers though. I'm going to look through my PT database for the last 1000ish hands and look for instances where I folded to river bets. Hopefully I can find a couple interesting ones.

I completely missed that.

Without callers ahead of us, I don't like calling this either.

I fold preflop.

it can be a leak of mine; I've gotten better.
These tables have usually been loose enough to make this play.

I love my turn bet actually.

Fold this preflop? I know it's not great and we have a lot of people behind us, but shouldn't we try to get this to a flop not facing any raises?
I've said it before, I have a lot to learn, so if anybody wants to lay out some basics for folding this, I'd love to read it.

limping here invites a few hands (you can raise at some tables, but probably not 66 from MP1 at 5c/10c, to steal blinds)
most flops suck
lousy visbility
likely not enough callers to play for set odds

if raise behind us and back to us, 3 handed or so, that blows.

at loose passive tables, it's fine

Ah, that it's where I've been lately so that's why I felt the limp was ok. Thanks for the info.

We want to see a large multiway pot with these smaller pairs.

I generally like to have at least 2 callers ahead of me to play these. We need the implied odds to make up for all the times we miss.

me too, with small pairs and other speculative hands like suited connectors or what have you

in MP1 with 1 limper I'd limp too if I thought it would get atleast one or more behind me to come along.

turn bet folks

what do you think?

lol at you dropping down in limits.

I hate the turn bet, really. I just check turn and fold the river.

If I were HU on the turn, I'd bet to protect if he's on the draw, then check the river through, UI.

well it's vs the blinds.
So chance of Ace are considerable lower.
Don't we get an 8 to fold enough here in this small pot?
Wouldn't a Q and sometime 8 have lead out on flop or turn ?

I found a juicey 5c/10c, so I took a shot.
Actually, no traffic at 10c/20c full

i guess its bad that i would be raising this preflop from the mp.

as played...its fine...hopefully ur up against a flush draw and not a weak queen
