I hope it covers Phil's early years with Tuli Harmony. I have always been curious to learn more about Phil and Tuli.
Should be a fun movie.

It could be good. You'd think there would be a movie out about Doyle Brunson first though, he has a more interesting life story. Or maybe a film adaptation of The Professor the Banker and the Suicide King. I think this Hellmuth movie will be a must see for poker players..... but I don't see the general public being that interested.

Its funny you mentioned Doyle he would be my third choice. I would greenlight(I think thats what they say.) a movie about Johnny Moss or Puggy Pearson First. Then I would go for Doyle. I would want to see Puggy's movie the most right now. Doyle and Phil are super cool and all but their lives are not over yet. I guess I would prefer a whole story. But if anyone merits a life story while they are still alive it would be Doyle. He did write that lil book called Super Sytem. I hear it is a very good and influential book.

I got my subscription to bluff magazine two years ago this may. I remeber one of the first issues i got had an interview with Hellmuth
In the interview about 1.5 years ago, he said that they were making a moive with hayden christensen.
I started checking imdb for it becuase i loved hayden from RotS so i am happy that it is actually going to happen.

noted but i'm guessing that it's writing would be a very entertaining part of a movie
I'm guessing they'll just dwell on the seedier aspects - damn hollywood

Why, he might be the most uncharismatic actor ever? I think Clerks 2 summed up his acting pretty well.

The guy who played the original Obi-Wan (Liam Neeson?) once referred to the lines in the original 3 Star Wars as "excruciating."

Alec Guinness insulted the original trilogy? I know that Liam Neeson almost quit acting because Episode 1 was so bad (when I say "I know" what I mean is "I heard it somewhere one time and assume it is true"), so maybe you could be thinking of that.

Hayden Christianson gets a bad rep because of the Star Wars movies, but he isnt a bad actor. His is in a very underrated movie called Shattered Glass in which his perflormance is good. Im still not sure how great this movie will be but I will still see it like I saw that POS that was Stu Ungars movie.
Also who is Tuli Harmony?
no not baxter

I am currently trying to get a JohnnyBax movie organized. Probably a couple years before production starts. What you guys think?

Sir Alec Guiness was not fond of the original trilogy. He was a celebrated actor in Europe and somehow or another ended up in this flick with a bunch of no names. He didn't enjoy his time.
The new trilogy is both terrible writing, terrible directing and terrible acting. I'm one of the biggest Star Wars fans around, but George needs to let other people direct. Empire was the shiz. And Ewan McGregor was the best. His Obi-Wan was perfect, he sounded just like Guiness in RotS.
Natalie Portman... I'd bone her, but she can't act.
Hayden... should be a perfect Phil cause he's a whiny bitch. Phil isn't so much a bitch but he is whiny.
