In the 3k PLO8 tonight.

Blinds are 30/60 and I have 1877 in chips. Lee Watkinson is 3 to my right with 3000, I'm on the button. He raises pot, and I reraise pot with AK2 A , he's the only caller. Flop comes 2 Q9 . He checks, I pot it which puts me all in, he calls. He has K4 3 J . I run it up on Cardplayer at this point and it shows I'm roughly a 3-1 favorite.

Turn comes J . I run it there and I'm exactly 75-25 ahead. I know that calculator is far from infallible, but I'm seeing that he has 4 outs, 2 kings for kings up, and 2 jacks for trips. 4 outs going to the river is 10.4%, right? Am I missing cards that could give him the winner, or is Cardplayer just that goofy?

Also, I'm relatively new at that game, so I welcome critiques here as well.

The 3 fours and 3 threes which give him j's up to beat ur aces. That's 10 outs with 40 unseen cards which is 25 %

he wins with a ten, king, jack, three, or four.

Also, 10 is no good as that give me a higher straight.

Was this a 3K buy-in event or 3K guaranteed price pool? I've never heard of a 3k buy-in plo8 event but I know Lee Watkinson is some pro so he may not be bothered with some micro buy-in tournaments.

Where did it take place in? I assume this is an online event right? I don't think plo8 event will take off live, at least not in the US.

Heh, if I had trouble counting outs in a 3k buy in, I might as well shoot myself. In all seriousness, it was the $24+2, 3k guaranteed on FT last night.
