I had just won two capped pots in the last fifteen mins when this hand came up. I have only been at the table for a half hour and I dont know the opponent well at all. My question is how comfortable can I be with my hand facing a raise on the river?? I thought about re-raising to cap but I decided to just make a timid call....

Comforatable enough to call, but certainly not raise. Played fine.

Weak 10 or odd Spade Draw. Once he reraises that basically gets rid of the draw and he's saying he has something.

I don't mind the call at all. His obvious weak 10 could easily be w/ a 2.

You also said you had no reads as it was early in the session, you can smooth call and see how he plays weak trips for some information.
