I'm just watching the start of the Broncos / Chiefs game, and they actually showed the National Anthem, which I rarely see. Jennifer Harp, a Kansas City native who sings with the country band The Wreckers, sang the anthem, and it was awesome. And she's totally smokin' hot, which is always nice.

I'm so disgustingly patriotic that I tivoed it in case I missed it.

This was more of a Plummer flame than a raider flame, but being a denver fan, I feel entitled to make fun of one of my most hated teams.

Okay, I'm going to say it. It's a poorly written song, both lyrically and in terms of music, and it's about a war that nobody remembers. Just sayin.

I like it more because of what I feel it represents, not for the words or the music. I am not doing a good job of explaining my position, but meh.

To me, there is nothing like hearing it and having jets do a flyby. It's the best moment of the game for me, regardless of who is playing or winning.
