Holy God, I couldn't stop reading it. I checked it out of the library this afternoon (Wed. I'm still up, and don't plan on sleeping), and read it for like six hours straight. This MIGHT be the best book I've ever read.
With McGee gone, is there any hope that someone here has read this?

I haven't read it but if you can say it in the same sentence with Infinite Jest, then I should give it a shot.
My recommendation to you: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell.

The last two books I've read are this, and Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon.
I'm quite pleased with both.

Weird. Are we working off of the same reading list (and I know we're not, because I pick books at random)?

It was a good movie...but I dont think they really did EVPs justice. I'm 90% sure they are real...and if they are real I've heard some amazing ****.

I'm pretty sure this movie is something totally different.
