I took a game theory course over 10 years ago in college. Can anyone recommend any current game theory textbooks? I know there aren't any specifically about poker, but maybe one with similar cases.

I just dropped my game theory class. I don't have my textbook with me, but it seemed alright. I'll put up the name/authors when I get home.

An Introduction to Game Theory by Martin J. Osborne is what I was reading for my class, not sure if that helps you though.

Bill Chen?

yeah. bill chen co-authored it. i didn't think it was out yet. i'll have to look into it.

OP: if you have no memorable study of game thoery then the book to get is called "The Compleat Strategyst: Being a Primer on the Theory of Games of Strategy" by J.D. Williams.

the book imo is hands down the most important work of poker literature (though it doesn't discuss poker).
