For the most part I'm the kind of person who refers to English as "American," and won't watch anything with subtitles. There is the occasional exception, but those exceptions are usually fairly masculine movies. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's movies, though, with which I've recently become obsessed (A Very Long Engagement and Amelie being the only non-Alien movies of his I've seen) are not so. Furthermore, They're the only foreign-language films I've found easy to get-into. Therefor, I've come to the following conclusion: I'm gay. Or maybe Jeunet just kicks ass. As "kick-ass" and "gay" are the only two articulations I'm capable of giving a movie, I'll open this to discussion. Any thoughts on what a jackass I am, or Jean-Pierre Jeunet's movies?
