I thought this was really weird and wondered if anyone had any info

The show makes use of real time - in obviously a big way - A big deal is made of the fact that the serbs will be phoning David Palmer at 10:45 - yet the phone call comes at 10:34 on my DVD's

I've found confirmation of this online but no explaination - anyone have any info?

the most logical explanation would be the lack of commercials would offset the time on the DVD by 9 minutes.

no that isn't it because every time a commercial runs the clock advances three minutes or so

probably just an errorr

yeah, you have to expect them to cheat a little with a real time show like that. It's just a little fourth wall breakage...but nothing so big that willtake away your enjoyment of it.
