Full Version: Move Up Or Cash Out?

Well I started with a very small BR. Then again ive just recently started to take poker seriously.

I think my original deposit was $45, to which I played the 0.02/0.04 tables, and sometimes the 0.05/0.10 tables. cheap, yup, but i need to start somewhere. My question is this: When do most people do a cash out? because if you cash out (obvously not everything) then unless you had a sh*t load, you wont have the br to move up a level or 2.

To be honest, from my original $45, Ive done 2 cash outs totalling $110 and still have $40 left right now. I play mainly the 0.05/0.10 tables. When should I not cash out and move up a level instead?

Im moving somewhat soon, across the world lol not next door, so if i lost it all, i doubt id be able to put more back in as i need all the money i can get....

Interestingly enough, im also on another site which gave me $10 free, and ive made that into $80, and im sitting on a 0.25/0.50 table right now lol. maybe it because i never actually invested anythinginto this site im more willing to take a chance with the br ( i know i know)

In those limits don't cash out.

When you move up in limit you can both cash out and add to your bankroll.

and it isn't even close

depends what you want to do with online poker, if you want to get better you are going to have to move up. if you are having fun doing what you are doing than cash out and blow it on something fun.

Assuming you have enough money I would keep it all online and try to move up until you get to a point where you want to cash it all out and start over. That is what I did last year to pay for Xmas and all sorts of other holiday related expenses.

Would you prefer to have the money in your bank account, or would you prefer to have it in your poker account?

ZOMG

See how easy it is?

You dont want to be like most people.
Most people dont withdraw. THey just keep reloading.

If i was in the position you described, i would not withdraw.

Hey you should move up in limits a bit at least untill you start getting fpp's or something. Hey but if you want stay at the low limits it will get to the point some time where it will mean nothing and be a bore, move up befor then.
