Villian is a complete maniac raising most pots and psb all pots That river bet seems a bit weak...is this a good raise?
....Ian....
if ur going to make this play i like to make it on the flop where it costs less to execute and ur hand looked a whole lot better there. its just hard to believe.

yeah but my thinking is that his bet is a scared bet and that flush card coudl scare him into folding a nonflush hand

Yep he can probably fold but if you ask me its unneccesary risk at these stakes.Because money is quite worthless here he can be like " oh well only 11 dollar more" and call.I am not saying you played it bad.
Mattnxtc
yeah i thought that the extra 14 would cause him problems...he did end up folding though i was hesitant to make this play...just seeing if poeple thought these kind of plays could be +ev against a maniac
Wingman008
I think they can be +ev against maniacs if the maniac is deepstacked.

Like Bud said, at these lvl's alot of people don't care about the money, and will just call and reload.

Now if you are both deepstacked, I think that this play is much better because the flush card will most likely scare him off.
