Not to add anything new, but raise the river. Unless he had hit a set on the flop (Or was playing something arcane like J6) (And that's very bizarre flop play on his part, set or no), which would mean he rivered the boat, then hitting your flush on the river puts you ahead.

Results
him JJ, he sure enough made the boat.
I really put him on a set, or the nut flush draw the way he played the flop.
Two horrible situations for me, ones bad, ones really bad.
That's why I didn't raise the river.
