Great Movie. Saw it last night. Im not sure if its better than The Departed, but its close.

Christopher Nolan + Christian Bale + Scarlett Johansson = Great Movie.

Id recommend it to anybody.

I'll be seeing it. My expectations are high.

You won't be disappointed. Now I want to see The Illusionist even more.

Spoilers ahead.

Keep in mind that I saw this piss drunk, but I really was not thrilled by this movie at all. Once they showed the two key sequences of the movie (Bale using a body double, and Jackman and the scientist discovering that the machine clones things) I knew what was going to happen, as well as how. The only thing I didn't call was the Johansen switch, but that really didn't seem like all that valuable a plot twist, except to further illustrate the conflict of Bale, his clone, and their differing feelings toward the real Bale's wife. Another section of the movie that was extremely predictable, IMO.

The worst part of this, is that I'm almost never "that guy" who calls the endings of movies before they're over, but with this one, even after two 40 oz's and a few shots, it was still painfully obvious, and unentertaining.

I agree that the ending was fairly predictable, but I found it entertaining even though I knew what was gonna happen.

Meh, I knew the gist of what would happen at the end of the Departed as well, but I still loved it. This movie just dragged on for me.

I had it pretty much figured out too... But I thought it was super entertaining. I still thought it was a great movie. Much better than The Illusionist.
