Ok I had been playing pretty laggy..I tried making a move on this guy w/ KJ in the bb after he raised on the button...He standard raised, I repopped and he called..I led a flop of 456 R for about 2/3 of the pot, he called..We checked the rest down, he had AK

He took a long time to call the flop raise so I didn't think he had a flush draw...What is your river play?

I would check. No need to run into a possible trap. he can't call anyway without the flush.

I might be a pansy but I check also, I have noticed a lot of people love to smooth call the turn and check raise the river.

I bet half his stack on the river.

You'll win unless he's slow playing a flush in that case you're toast.

I can't see him slow playing a set here he probably would have bet the turn unless he knew you had a king and was stringing you along the whole way.

I still bet him on the river, worst case senario you get raised and can fold.

***Edit***

After re-reading the hand I definily think he has a KQ or K10.

Villian calling the reraise on the flop and the bet on the turn really narrows his range, I check behind here cause I don't think anything we have beat is calling here. He probably the K icon_suit_diamond.gif. I definitely think checking behind works fine here. Pot is decent and we aren't getting much more.

Check b ehind, the only hand that will call that you beat is KJ. You won't be called by JT, you are beat by a flush and a set and will call any bet you make. You dont want to make big pots with top two on those kind of boards.
