I don't claim to be an Omaha expert, but is this standard?

Bodog 1/2 PLO (8-handed)

CO $185
Cobalt $190

Cobalt is Button w/ K icon_suit_club.gif Q icon_suit_club.gif Q icon_suit_spade.gif 5 icon_suit_diamond.gif. I've only been at the table for a round. No read on CO unfortunately.

Pre-flop:
UTG calls, 3 folds, CO calls, Cobalt calls, SB calls, BB checks

Flop ($10): J icon_suit_club.gif 9 icon_suit_club.gif 5 icon_suit_heart.gif (5 players)
3 checks, CO bets $10, Cobalt calls ?
BudBundy
Yeah pretty standard since you are in position.

I raise this PF from the button occasionally.

I would say standard as well.

And since I am finally realizing that I am a much more aggro than Bundy I would be raising this much more considering there are two limpers and we most likely want to get rid of at least one person.

Yeah, I don't see much value in raising the flop, and your hand is obviously good enough for a call.
Preflop is down to personal style/preference. I don't mind a raise there, especially with position. OOP I prefer calling.

Yea a small bet looks good.

Or you can check it and hope the board pairs.

That was actually going off in my head when I limped, and a big reason I didn't raise. I tried to rebut Cloutier with Smash's "position is everything...I could play nothing from UTG and almost everything from the button."

in a limped pot, i'm taking a flop with a hi pair everyday. even in cloutiers book he mentions a hand very similar quote 'you have to take a flop with this hand'

the 5.

i guess he means, dont play a 3 card omaha hand?

edit: but if you can get in for the minimum in late position might as well see a flop.

Indeed. A straggler that doesn't work well with the others. Kind of like the kid in the back of the class in the Ministry t-shirt.

Just for the sake of completion...

Turn ($30): T icon_suit_club.gif (2 players)
CO checks, Cobalt bets $15, CO calls

River ($60): T icon_suit_diamond.gif (2 players)
CO bets $30, Cobalt does a jig and bets pot, CO goes all-in, Cobalt calls

Wheeeee. He had jacks full in case you're wondering. Definitely the biggest pot I've ever won with a straight flush.
