So since UB appears to be sticking around.....
How is the tournament schedule for higher buy ins?
How is the competition?
Software?
Site you can compare it to?
Thanks.

Well I can say the software is the worst that I have seen. Compared to: Doyles Room, Party Poker, Absoulte, FT, Stars, WPX.

Competition is soft for the most part. Same regualrs in alot if the upper middle limits.
Small fields if your're looking for a change of pace from party and stars.

i love ub but it is hard to get a middle limit stud game grouping or multitabling action started. i first started playing there like 3 years ago and is the only program i have on my comp.

Great/Fast software, I think about 2 or 3 100 dollar tournies a day, usually overlay in their big guarantees, good starting chip amount and slow blind increases for tournies, bad cashout process, decent customer support, sng's fill up fairly slowly, limit games not too hard to beat, bonus money awarded everytime you leave the table which kinda sucks because you don't really notice when you're getting it, ultimate buddy is great to track fish, and now they're starting to have elimination blackjack tournies which are kinda fun to screw around in. 10 person tables for tournies and sngs, but they also run 6 person sng's and tournies. I'd compare it to maybe Full Tilt as far as size, competition and tournies.

Best software on the net, hands down.
Nitty/tight players.
Horrible Support/cashout times.
Small tourney guarantees.
Best tournament structure on net.

The things you mentioned are irrelevant. What is wrong with the placement of the chip counts? Mute the sound effects. Card images are fine unless you are Helen Keller.
Its not debateable. The speed, along with many other things make UB the best software on the net. If you care to disagree that is fine, but almost everyone I have spoken to feels the same way I do.

Combine its speed and the mini view mode (the only things that really matter) the software is definately near the top in online poker.

Nothing trumps Full Tilt when it comes to software.

I've been thinking about putting money back on UB myself since I had to leave Party.
Couple Questions if anyone knows.
Do they have Turbo SnGs? I don't have the attention span for full length ones anymore and I find that turbos are generally more donk-filled.
Is it worthwhile to play Limit or NL hold'em on there up to about 2/4 limit or $50NL?
Thanks.

1. Yes for Turbo SnG's. Traffic for most SnG's below $50 is good. Can take a long time to get a SnG started above
2. Either one is good. I like NL over Limit slightly, but the players are not as loose as they are a Party Poker.
Also, check my sig. below for rakeback on Existing accounts.

UB has the best software out there right now. The problem is that the cash games are not the easiest, but still beatable. You get more hands at UB than any other site. The problem is that is it VERY easy to tilt bc the hands keep coming. I know from experience, it happened today.

i actually think the software is a little too fast while FT is a lil too slow, i like stars the best pace wise

The more hands you play, the more money you make. I'll admit that at first my eyes were flying all over the place at UB, but once you get used to it, it's really hard to play at another site. I played there for a little over 2 hours whiile 4 tabling and got in 1,999 hands. The speed coupled with 35% rb will probably make it my permanent home
