Okay, I probably already screwed up by not throwing out a pre-flop raise.

Yes, the lack of pf raise has really made this a difficult hand to play. Still, unless he is way overplaying TPSK you are behind to two pair, sets, or a filled OESD. He could be semibluffing the OESD on the turn, but that would have taken a very loose call on the flop.

Id fold.
WhatArunAA
i had the same hand happen the other day.. i called a open raise from late position with KQ suited.. the flop came Q-8-3.. you got 1500 cihps to start, and with all the donkeys I think getting it in here is +EV.. anyways he had AQ and I hated my life.
WrongWay
BB had pushed me out of a couple hands.... I was angry, lost discipline... went way donkey.

WrongWay raises to t1435, SB calls t1435.

SB shows 5 icon_suit_club.gif 3 icon_suit_club.gif
BB shows Q icon_suit_spade.gif 7 icon_suit_spade.gif

River: (t4985) Q icon_suit_club.gif (3 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t4985

SB won (1340) with a flush, Queen high
BB won (3645) with a full house, Queens full of Sevens

Copernicus....

he could also be semi bluffing a FD..more likely than a sd

for someone who calls 77 all in for 1/2 his stack when his m is >20, you sure are a tight advsior!

***************

for 2k + our 800 in pot, I"m willing to get down to 800

Maybe SB has a monster, but with all that flop action and no repop from him on that draw board, I doubt it.
simo_8ball
Really, raise preflop. Do that and all your worries drift away.

Only against SBriand wink.gif and pf, vs on the turn.

I still didnt see if I won that hand or not...if I didnt my "skillful" short stack play mustve come through since I did cash (I think!)

you did
vs his 88. you hit a set.

At first I thought, what a lousy call by SB.
Then I saw his sd, too.
Which makes me realize more about thinking beyond just one draw out there. Pair+FD and Pair+SD are both very possible there for decent odds to our push.

If he puts us on less than a set.
