i've had a few problems with the site in the past months that don't make a lot of sense to me.

i use a modern mac with the safari browser and run the ongame java client. i have high speed access. other ongame sites like hollywood, europoker, and pokerroom work pretty much flawlessly.

for some reason, FCP, my preferred site, works like sh1t.

-- i can't make a deposit to take advantage of promos despite trying everything FCP info has suggested--it just doesn't work

-- there's purportedly this freeroll on saturday that i cannot find and cannot sign up for that's capped at 2k players

-- the "my account" interface system is hopelessly confusing--what are "bonus" dollars and why not just tell me how many PPs i need to collect before the bonus clears like the other ongame skins? they're much easier to navigate

-- for that matter, why are some tournaments accessible through the site via links, while on most skins everything can be found under the client? why even get mixed up in having the site provide details and a signup link? the other ongame sites only show payouts based on number of players, etc.--it's just different and confusing

-- half the time i try to launch the java client to the poker lobby, my password is rejected even though it's surely good

i think i'm probably forgetting other complaints, but as a general rule, if the idea is to run as easy an online site as possible in terms of finding tournaments, logging in, depositing, etc., then FCP has a long way to go. i still enjoy the forums and like ongame generally, but playing through FCP is just too much effort considering these difficulties. what can be done?

As for this point the freeroll is only opening up 90 minutes prior, my guess is to avoid having the people that sign up only to sit out.

As for your other complaints, FCP support is the best and I ask if you haved already addressed your concerns via the live support?

Hi DB-10, I'm a little confused by your post as you haven't played for real money at FCP since February other then one tournament in May and I don't see any notes in your file about you contacting our support to assist you although I think I can clear up some of the issues for you.

1. There is a conflict between the safari browser and our cashier so if you're been trying and failing to have the cashier load for you that is the reason. If you can access it with a different browser it should work for you.

2. As has already been pointed out registration for the freeroll will begin 90 minutes before the start time.

3. Since March 15th we've used the same bonus system as the other Network sites using the bonus points to clear bonuses. When you have an active poker bonus in the poker bonus status section of the My Account area you'll see exactly how many points you have to earn to clear your bonus.

Our bonus system is much more player friendly since you can decide how much of your bonus money to transfer at one time and aren't forced to try and clear it all at once. As well we give 90 days from the time it's transferred to a poker bonus which is longer then others in the Network.

4. All of the tournaments that we currently run can only be registered for through the game client.

5. Remember that passwords are case sensitive when you enter them.

You asked what can be done and the simpliest thing is that if you have a problem contact our support. If you don't do that we have no way of knowing that you're having a problem or may be confused with how something is working.

maybe the other issues have been resolved. i posted in the forums about depositing a few months ago and never really got much of an answer. since i couldn't play real money as a result of that, i suppose it's possible that those other things have improved.

however, here's what i received re: the freeroll:

"FCP Exclusive Freeroll: This Saturday, October 7th at 6 PM, we are having a $1000 freeroll open to FCP players only. The top ten finishers of this tournament will receive a ticket to a $50+$4 Ongame Network Poker Classic Stage 2 Qualifier plus cash!! Please note that there is a 2000 player limit for this event, so we recommend that you register early to reserve a seat."

nowhere does it say it won't open until 90 mins before. in fact, it says i should sign up early. and the link to click for more info actually has no info about the freeroll. so if there was something about it elsewhere, i missed it.
