Jimmy Woods as a cocky prosecutor. I watched two episodes back to back and I enjoyed it more than the other two shows I've started this year, Studio 60 and Smith.
If you like courtroom shows with Jim Woods being glib and funny, great show to watch.
Ron_Mexico recommends it. That's all.

Yeah it's a good show, I mean hey, it's James friggin Woods. However, the D.A. doesn't dress properly. Her outfits should be much tighter/skimpier if they want to own the 13-120 year old male demographic.

actually if you think about it the gay doctor that let him kill 4 people deserved prison more
i would be interested in what penalty he would have gotten if he just came clean immediately instead of trying to cover it up

Are the junior guys going to completely screw up the case every week?
Wouldn't he have still gotten the phone call at the poker table?
Why didn't she identify her killer on 911? She was after all banging him?
An athlete tells his daughter his girlfriend is too physical and making him feel like a slut? This is either the most clever pick up line ever or the dumbest piece of writing ever.

Next Week on Shark
Julie (hesitantly): Dad, I have something I'm not real proud of that I need to talk to you about
Shark: Please, don't tell me you slept with that pea brained track star
Julie: No, Dad see after you told me to go to that concert I sort of panicked and stole my English Lit paper off of the internet. I've been suspended for a month
Shark: Jesus, Julie how many times have I told you if you are going to cheat not to get caught?
Julie: I'm really sorry Dad, I feel like my life is over
Shark: Please honey, stop being so melodramatic. I know all about it your principal called me into school today and it's all taken care of
Julie: Did you get my suspension decreased?
Shark: Decreased, that principal has so many skeletons in his closet, I could have made him appoint you class president. Oh, by the way, you got an A in English. Unless, you're bored you don't even have to go to class anymore.
Julie: Dad, I don't think that's the point of Education.
Shark: Honey, the sooner you learn that the world runs on money and power the better off you'll be. Let the home school kids memorize sonnets. You're going to be Queen of this country someday. Oh, and I bought you a new car. Go out and have some fun, just keep Carl Lewis' tongue out of your mouth.

This episode was actually the best one of the series so far.
The second I'm all upset that every woman in a show like this who pursues a rapist has also been raped they reveal that Madelyn made the whole thing up to help convince her witness to talk.
Also, since it's going to be clear that Julie is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt Woods will have to play dirty to get her off, which is what we all really want.

Actually, my dad has worked as a prosecuter for 15 years or so, and under some special circumstances they will call in a prosecuter immediately, mostly just to make sure the police don't screw up procedurally. Also, I'm thinking because this is a "special division," he's gonna get the call.

I watched this show for the first, and probably last, time last night. Although I rather like James Woods, I just can'tstomach another plot-bare legal show, even if it does have 7of9 in it. Srsly, enough with the "guy spends 15 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit because of oversights and lack of due process" crap.
