Hi,
This was the very first hand in a $10 6 way STT with nobody I had played with before. Blinds were 7/15 and everyone received 1000 chips to begin with.
The action is as follows:
---- HOLE CARDS -----
dealt to Player A [6d 3d]
Player B: calls 15
Player C: folds
Player D: folds
Player E: calls 15
Player F: calls 8
Player A: checks
----- FLOP ----- [Js 3c 3h]
Player F: checks
Player A: checks
Player B: bets 60
Player E: folds
Player F: raises to 165
Player A: calls 165
Player B: raises to 985 and is all-in
Player F: calls 820 and is all-in
Please tell me in the poll and with your reasoning what move you would have made after these two all-ins here as Player A?
Much appreciated,
Mick Mc.

Sorry, I guess this should be in the tournament forum. Can a moderator move it there please?

Fold with no problem. You don't know the guys, but I'd say one of them has J3 sooooted, the other maybe JT, or some weak jack he didn't want to raise with. either way I'd be out. No need to risk the tournament on this hand.

This is a fold, but not an easy one. Especially given it is a $10 STT.

I Hellmuth my chips into the middle before the other two even finish saying "call". I'm going to predict AA-QQ for the UTG limper and J7 for the SB.

Nice use of Hellmuth there as a verb. It works.

STT means single table tourney, right? As in a sit n go?
If so, I would probably call. I think it's worth it to have a decent shot at tripling up on the first hand or going broke right away. And even if it's not really worth it in terms of EV, it's more fun at least.

For $10 I probably call because, as you say, it's more fun. Unfortunately I feel compelled to do give the proper EV decision, which appears to be folding.
Oh, and yes, STT = Single Table Tournament = Sit n Go.

Thanks for all the replies so far. I'll let you know how the hand ended up tomorrow. I'll just maybe give a few more people a chance to reply who come here later during the day.

I find it amusing that folding confidently is the leading answer here. Noone would fold that without hesitating. You would think about it and reluctantly let it go. If you fold this confidently then you're way too weak tight. It should pain you to let this go, because you could be a huge favourite to treble up.

Hi Zach,
I did mention in my second post that I realised I put it in the wrong forum. Sorry about that.

You know what? I just saw that, sorry. My mistake. I guess I missed the first reply.
Carry on

Depressing eh? I typed in the chatbox that I folded a 3 and a player that was not involved in the hand called me a stupid drunk muppet and that he put them both on a jack each. Nice.

I think this would be hard to fold since it was the first hand, but I don't think it was a poor decision by you. It's easy to lean either way.
I would never tell the table I folded trips though.
Props to the n00b for not posting the results in the first post.
