So many topics about this in general asking for a card room. Figured this would be worth a shot.

Any home games in the New York area going on? Most of my college friends have moved out of the area or work too much to play poker now, so I'm pretty much left w/o a game. Stakes don't matter so much, as just wanting to be able to play live w/o going all the way to AC.

i'm interested in getting some kind of game together. i can probably bring 2 ro 3 with me too. i live in oceanside on long island.

I'd play on the weekend anywhere on Long Island or NYC if there was some form of mixed game .(LHE,LO8,Stud,Stud8,Razz,2-7TD, PLO,PLO8,NLHE)

Preferably $5/$10 or lower for limit games ($2/$4 would be ideal) and $1/$2 blinds or lower for the PL/NL games.

Dosen't have to include all the games I listed, but if I'm gonna get my head kicked in by fellow FCP'ers I'd at least like to get lessons in a few different games.

i would join if u guys get a game going and its a fairly short drive from there but i really dont have the money to risk on the sizes u play but ill see

somebody on 2+2 made a post that he and a few people are interested in starting a game around nyc. im thinking when he gets back to me there might be enough people.

suggestions for stakes and games?

im thinking 2/4 for limit games and .50/1 blinds for no limit/pot limit games.

i'de also love for it to be a mixed game.

that sounds cool to me. as long as the mix is of normal games. how regularly would this game meet?

bleh turns out he meant york in the uk not new york.

still though if we got you, bman, me, dreamcrusher. ide be willing to play fourhanded to get a regular thing so we could attract more players.

if im not mistaken this is completely legal in NY as long as the house doesnt take a rake right?

As far as i know it's legal. I could probably get 1 or 2 more guys, but I'm not sure if they would play a mixed game.

do they play lhe or nlhe?

mostly NHLE, i could probably talk them into play some LHE.
