Well that was a much needed win for the Bruins! Auld played great, the Bruins started slow, but we played a good 1.5 periods, and finally got rewarded in the 3rd. #1 star is Brashear for taking 6 minutes in penalties on the same play. Thanks Donald.

Apparently when David Krejci got a stick to the mouth yesterday, one of his teeth cracked and stuck in his lip. We all saw David go to the bench to get work. What we didn't know is this. When the B's went on the 5-on-3 Krejci's lip was sewn up with the tooth inside so he could go back and help on the PP.

I don't know much, but I do know that makes Mr. Krejci one tough son of a gun.

To finish the story, they took the three stitches out after the game in order to extract the piece of tooth and sewed it up completely.

I won a seat to a 1050 qualifier from a 50 rebuy, was in for 150. Withdrew the W$, played a couple of steps with no luck, then used the W$ for a 650 buyin, where top 7 of 145 got seats, and I barely held on FTW.

I think that's 6 goals in our last 5 games...pretty unacceptable.

Yeah, but Lundqvist was just crazy tonight, that glove save when he was sprawling across the net was stellar. Both goalies we're superb. Thought the shootout for the Bruins was weak, but probably a good portion of it was how easy Lundqvist makes it look.

So the Bruins either give up 8 or 10 ...or they give up 1

To be fair, I rarely get pissed. I think I handled myself well during the Washington and Toronto massacres. But this is just getting really frustrating, after we played so well for a while, now we can't put the puck in the friggen net, then we finally do but it doesn't count. And we get robbed chance after chance, then the Sens come right back and score.

I'd be lying if I said we were dominating the Sens, they are outplaying us. But they are getting all the breaks. Good for them.

Right with you Ray, watched the whole game, felt it was just unbearable. It really was, I think it was heightened due to the fact that score sheet aside the Bruins played their hearts out and had a pretty decent game. Before the first Bruins goal, I was going through the thought process that Gerber was going to have one of the worst earned shutouts I've ever seen, I mean he wasn't even good, he was pretty awful. His rebound control was horrid. This game was just something I hope they don't ever bring up again.

Side notes: that Aaron Ward is one hell of a tough player, did you see that hit he took? Wow I thought there was some spinal injury right there.
Alex Auld made one crazy save moving side to side on a one timer, on a puck he didn't even see. It literally made me laugh at how asinine it was.

I saw the hit, his back bent in a way that backs shouldn't bend... very glad he didn't get injured as he just came back from an injury.

I missed the save though. Might have happened while they had technical difficulties and I couldn't hear the announcers, and I was looking at my poker game.

Today was on offday for the Bruins, but Toronto beating Philly, and Pitts beating Buffalo were huge! If we can find a way to score goals, and win games we're all set!

Well it has been a wild ride this season. Many experts had us finishing 15th in the conference, so to finish 9th is pretty good. We have a solid group of young guys, and should be a force in the coming seasons.

Good luck in the playoffs everyone, you deserved to be there, and we did not.
