Whats up with Brandon Bochenski? I haven't heard too much but read about him not getting playing time due to his lack of physical play? Do they really want a guy who put up 22 points in 30 some odd games being a healthy scratch? I thought he looked good last year, if anyone has an idea of whats up feel free to fill me in.

you got it just about right.
hes brutal defensively, and he has been chided for lack of physical play.
he came back this offseason 20 or so pounds heavier, and wasn't good for him.
made him very sloooooooow.

I thought it was because he was gay but then I remembered they have Marc Savard and they play him.

I don't really know anything about the guy, but seems like another solid youngster for the B's.
Boston, MA -- Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed 19-year-old forward Brad Marchand to an entry-level contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Boston's third round pick (71st overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Marchand rejoined his junior team Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on September 21, 2007 after spending two weeks in the Boston Bruins 2007 Training Camp. Since rejoining his squad, Marchand has tallied six goals and one assist in 10 games. Last season with Val d'Or Foreurs, he notched 33-47-80 totals in 57 regular season games and 16-24-40 totals in 20 postseason contests. In his three-plus seasons in the QMJHL with Moncton and Val d'Or Foreurs, he has 77 goals and 105 assists in 196 games.
Marchand helped lead Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships and represented Canada along with current Bruins forward Milan Lucic at this summer's SuperSeries against Russia, where the Canadians were crowned champions.
The Bruins will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in their 2007 home opener at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 18 at the TD Banknorth Garden.
The B's recently returned from a 5-game Western road trip that saw the team compile a 3-2 record.

Weeee Tim Thomas played another sick game. The Bruins got outshot by a big margin again, but watching the game it definately doesn't feel like they are getting outplayed. The B's have a lot of playmakers, and are getting quality scoring chances. Scoring 4 goals today without a single powerplay is huge, and they killed off both Lightning powerplays.
If they keep playing like this, they will make the playoffs. And then go on a Cinderella run FTW.

Saw the whole game and here are my thoughts on this.
1. Jagr stuck out like a sore thumb, I haven't seen him play every game but he looked awful, just horrible every shift he took. He was usually the victim of getting too fancy with the puck and having it stripped away with ease.
2. Phil Kessel is so sick (in the good way) he's one of the guys that I would watch no matter who he plays for, he's just exciting and I love it.
3. Glen Metropolit is a beast.
4. Lundqvist was great, I know he didn't have as many chances as Fernandez but I felt like he looked like the better of the two he played everything positionally perfect and his reflexes are sweeet.
5. Jack Edwards, now I love this guy as a person, but his play by play is starting to annoy me.

I had never heard of Metropolit before this year, but from the short season so far I love watching him play. He's not one of those guys you're gonna look for to score points every game, but he does sooo many little things right. He plays his position extremely well, and always ends up with the puck. I like to call him a momentum swinger.
