No one is talking FF so i thought id start a thread.

im 1-1 so far and my team is back to its old tricks of putting up sick amounts of points and hitting everyone else monster weeks. Last year i had a record breakdown of something like116-50 and didnt make the playoff which IMO is the equivalent of being dealt pocket aces and losing to 83o.

Last week i had 114 points and lost to a team with Jeff Wilkins and his 6 frigging field goals putting up a freakish 145. This week I put up 124 points and only won because the other guy slipped up and started Tatum Bell over Westbrook otherwise id be 0-2 and in a foul mood.

My team is held together by duct tape right now


QB Eli Manning (also have Vick on the bench. I dont trust Eli next week vs the Seahawks...Vick might get the nod vs the Saints)
RB Edgerring James (i wante Rudi Johnson so bad but my nemesis in the leage took him one spot before i picked)
RB Deshaun Foster (i am the idiot who drafted Domanick Davis)
WR- Jericho Cotchery (He is starting in place of Steve Smith another one of my stellar draft picks)
WR Donald Driver ( early season savior)
WR Matt Jones (Doing pretty much what i expected 70 yards/game)
TE LJ Smith (hope that shoulder is not serious cuz i think he has a breakout year if he stays healthy)
K - Stephen Gostkowski (Just benched Jeff Reed)
D- Chargers or Seahawks depending on match up.

Curiously enough i also have Eli and Vick as my QBs in that league as well. i dont really like the rest of my team. My RBs are kind of a mess Cadillac, Reggie Bush and Thomas Jones but i like my receivers DJax, Terry Glenn, Larry Fitzgerald and if one of them goes down Matt Jones.

I'm not talking fantasy football because I picked 12th in a 12 team league and drafted Cadillac Williams and LaMont Jordan. Needless to say, I'm 0-2.

I hear you on Lamont Jordan, 1 league I have him and Randy Moss (still 1-1 though)

My other league I drafted LJ #1 overall, took TO and Randy Moss with picks 20-21, then took Tom Brady and Brian Westbrook with picks 40-41. The Moss-Owens gamble is a total disaster

0-2 in 3 of mine, 2 public and the FCP on I started

2-0 in the FCP league Ozim started.

To my credit, In my FCP league, Im like 4th in total points, I just keep getting bad matchups

So far I'm just going to blame my 1-1 and 0-2 records on Matt F'ing Hasselbeck.

Hassleback is a notorious second half of the season performer because it takes about half a season for the hawks offense to hit on all cylinders. I love having him if i make the playoffs because thats usually when he is playing his best.

I hear ya on running into the hottest team every week. This week I would have won if I was up against anyone,but the guy who I played.He had Peyton Manning,and that was the difference.

Also drafted 12th (Williams and Jordan) but 2-1 due to Baltimore Def and good receiver picks

3-0 in one leagues
0-3 in the other 3. One I suck at, other wons just getting some bad matchups. My teams arent great, but definately better than 0-3 type.

Alive in both survivor leagues, 1st outta ...15-ish in the FCP spread pick'em league. 4th outta 4 in the non-spreadFCP pickem league

I've dropped to 0-4 in one FCP league simply because every teamn I play has a roster full of guys who pick that week to overachieve. This past week, Reggie Williams had 2 TDs, doubling his career total. Some guy named Jerricho Cotchery had a TD and hung 15 points on me.

In Week One, it was the Chicago D putting up 29.
Week 2 saw Rudi Johnson put up 145 and 2 TDs for my opponent.
And in Week 3, I ran into John Kasay and Javon Walker.

4 - 0 in mine but portis just put dismal #s against giants and opp has eli and plax doh

edit: 4 - 1 but so close only cuz jags put 37 pts on D. that was the deciding factor
