So I am getting away from Bodog for poker and sports betting (lines suck)... Because you got to prove who you are 100 times when you want to cash out/deposit. I checked my account and I had been given a bonus for $5.62. So instead of going through the hassles of cashing it, or having to sit through an all in fest in a poker tourney I decided to lay it on a NFL parlay. I just picked the ones I was comfortable with, which wound up being 6. I almost threw in a couple of over/unders, but good thing I didn't (would have been wrong). Anyway, low and behold my parlay hit, and I turned $5.62 into $299.24, an amount worth cashing icon_dance.gif . Here's my parlay...

Which was it?

I hit a 4 team parlay in NCAA this weekend to turn $15 into $195. Not as impressive, but I was pretty excited since it was the first parlay that I have ever bet.

$5.62 + $293.62 = $299.24.

Nice hit! Who do you like this week?

Well, the Jets @ Bills game is tough. Both teams have been suprising. But I like the Bills -6 at home for the first time this year... but I'm not putting a lot of stock in that one.

Kind of the same with Bengals @ Steelers. Bengals have done good, but Steelers stunk it up last week. They are the favorite this week and are at home. Tough to call, but if I had to... Bengals +2 sorry Ozium icon_cool.gif

Jaguars @ Colts... Jaguars did well last week, but this week they visit the Colts who will get off to another great start this year. Colts win straight up, but beware of the spread... still... Colts -7.

Titans @ Dolphins... Tennessee got whooped last week, and I think San Diego is very comprable to Miami. Great running games, and I even give the passing game edge to Miami. As long as Miami D has a decent game, and they should, Miami -11.

Redskins @ Texans... Houston sucks, Redskins are off and on. Portis is back again, hopefully he holds up. I don't think the Texans D can hold the Skins. Skins -4.

Bears @ Vikings... Vikings have been sliding by by the skin of their teeth. Not this week. Bears -3.5

Panthers @ Bucs... a little tough to call, but Bucs have scored 3 points this season, and were shut out at home against the Ravens in week 1. Carolina hasn't exactly impressed either... That being said... Panthers -3

Packers @ Lions... Another that I don't put a lot of confidence in... Packers got shut out in Week 1 and put up 27 in Week 2 again the Saints @ GB, Lions kept up with Seahawks in Week 1, but got whooped in Week 2 by the Bears. Lions at home... it could be close, I think Lions straight up, but GB COULD cover... I still say Lions -7

Ravens @ Browns... I initially thought this was easy, but have since been convinced it may be tighter than I thought. Ravens have looked good. Allowing only 6 in the first two games total. Granted they played Tampa Bay and Oakland. Cleveland got beat by 5 at home against the Saints then only put up 3 more in Cincinnati... I think the Ravens remain undefeated, but watch out for the Browns to suprise... Ravens -7

Rams @ Cardinals... Cards beat 49ers in Arizona, Rams lost to 49ers in San Fran... this game is in Arizona, the Kurt Warner looks to show up his old team, the Edge runs wild. Cardinals -4.5

Giants @ Seahawks... Another I wouldn't bet my first born on... Giants played right with the Colts in Indy, and beat Philly in NY in OT... Seattle put 9 on Detroit and 21 on Arizona in Arizona... I'm leaning toward Giants +3.5

Eagles @ 49ers... 49ers are going to be hit hard win the Eagles come into town... After playing the Rams and the Cards, they haven't seen an offense like the Eagles. McNabb is on point and the Eagles are going to be tough to stop... Eagles -6.5

Broncos @ Patriots... Denver is going to need more than the 3 fFG they put on KC in KC... and more than the 10 they got in St. Louis... COMBINED... Broncs are tired of being on the road, and face a Pats team that has beaten a couple of decent teams (Bills and Jets)... Pats at home and only having to give a TD... Pats -7

And for MNF...
Falcons @ Saints... I think the Falcons do a good job of stopping Bush... I don't think the Saints do a good job of stopping Vick... this one could come down to the wire (hence the spread)... both teams are undefeated, and both have played middle of the road teams. New Orleans has won their last two games by a margin of 12... combined. Atlanta will do a better job of keeping the Saints from scoring than Green Bay did, and should be able to score at least with the ease Green Bay did... Falcons -4

I'm open to feedback... and am interested to hear what others are thinking.
