I'm having a small custom bar built for my second bedroom/office. When I say small, I mean it...about 3 feet wide, 4 feet tall, 1.5 feet deep. I'm going with a tropical/tiki thing, so I was thinking about some bamboo trim, a matted front, etc.

The guy wants a drawing with dimensions so he can price it out. Anyone artistic want to throw something together via a scanned in drawing or even ms paint? I'll throw $20 on stars or party to the creator of the plans I end up using (if I pick any).

Here are a few example (ignore the overhead things since it will be indoors). Obviously the first has too much bamboo to be realistic, and the second doesn't have any...but you get the idea. I like the matting in the middle of the second one.





Yes, I already have tiki mugs and will be making a shitload of mai tais (after blasting the heat in the room). Yes, this is another example of me being a huge homo....but when it's 20 degrees and snowing out I'll be happy to go to my 100 degree tiki room and pretend I'm back living in a tropical climate again.

u need like 2D plan drawings fully dimensioned from CAD or just like illustrator sketch drawing with basic dimensions?

u also havent mentioned what its goin to be made out of, wil it be wood with bamboo trim? what about the counter top> wood also?

I don't need crazy 2D plans (although it would be cool)...just simple sketch would be ok.

I'm thinking it will be wood with bamboo trim on the sides, and maybe some bamboo accents here and there...I'm not artistic so I have no clue. Wood on top and for the shelves on the inside obviously.

Actually, yeah. Not that shape since it has to be small...but bamboo along the edges and that matting in the middle with maybe some bamboo across is the right idea.
