PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (7 handed)
Hand History Converter Tool from
FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)
Preflop: Hero is SB with T

, Q

. CO posts a blind of $0.35.
UTG calls,
2 folds, CO (poster) checks, L36^Arden calls,
Hero raises?
Any good?

No, I don't like it because it's a speculative hand and you're out of position.
Both this thread and the "river play" thread are in the wrong forum, btw. Maybe a mod can move them.

There isn't much reason for this.
Seeing the "dead money" in the pot already must be your motivation?
But because of this dead money, each opponent is more likely to call you.
And if both call your preflop bet, it is too costly to spew continuation bets after the flop out of position..
So attempting to gain fold equity with the preflop raise is probably not worth the expense.
You have a hand with potential.
And with CO already in the hand, it is less likely that BB will raise if you limp.
See the flop cheaply and hope to hit it.

Acutally, you are an 80% overdog versus a 3-1 unpopular. Donks always call.
