does anyone else have huge problems playing on there?

i time out at least once per round.

the previous hand stays loaded on my screen for a delayed period, and then it flashes forward to the next hand where ive either already timed out, or have 2 seconds to act before i time out.

i have absolutely no internet connection issues on any other sites, and my connection is pretty fast.

I time out every 30-35 hands on average.

I didn't think anything of it because I typically time out on every site.

I get booted sometimes when I am on on there. But I havent had the thing with my hand showing up. And I don't get booted anywhere else either. There software must be a little huh.gif

For me it is rare, maybe once every day or other day.

How many other programs did you have running at the same time? I used to have problems running cryptos and other sites at the same time.

Mine was running like crap after the last update but removing it and re-installing cleared it up.

The software is clearly not as good as PS or PP
Abbaddabba
I had absolute running on the side.

Also - for those of you who play there, did you have any issues with getting GT+ (or PAHUD) to work with the software?
mikeysong
does acehud support wpx now?

Yeah, I'd time out every once in awhile at wpx. Very annoying

Last i looked it didn't.
Abbaddabba
Acehud specifically, or can you not use GT+ with it either?

Yeah PAHUD.

I'm testing GT out right now

Edit:

Basically it labels like this:

Seat 1 (should be) = "Player 0 (Fish Hook Sep-13-06)"
Seat 3 (should be) = "Player 2 (Fish Hook Sep-13-06)"

Fish Hook being the table. Only Your handle shows up.

Ok Report 2:

1. "Player 0" corresponds to Seat 1, "Player 1" corresponds to Seat 2, etc... (like in the above post)

2. I'm not getting a stats display for "Player 0" or Seat 1

3. When someone new joins the table and inherits a seat, the display will pull up the last person (in that seat)'s stats and combine with the new person's stats, which I figured would happen

So, GT sucks with WPEX right now
Sluggo
Well, WPX just changed so their hand histories are stored on the hard drive. In the process though, they messed up the how the hand histories are written. I believe they are going to change it soon.

Good, I hope so...

...although there's an argument to be made against it of course.

Abba ... the WPEX software is at least as memory intensive as Absolute, probably more so. I only have 512MB RAM so I generally only keep my email and Poker Tracker running when playing there. If I even set PT to auto-import, it slows things down so I'll manually import when I'm not in any hands.

This latest update purposefully eliminated the ability to associate seat numbers with players. WPEX has made the policy decision that they will allow players to keep their own hand histories but not track the play of their opponents. As such, GT+ and PAHUD are essentially useless. Plenty of debate has ensued at 2+2. Whatever the merits of the argument, I have noticed a slight pickup in traffic this past week, and the games have gotten a bit lag-ier ... we'll see if this continues.

Wow, didn't think it possible.

What limits do you play?

Anything from 1/2 to 3/6 depending on how I'm running. I should've said that they've gotten a bit laggier at full ring. I realize the SH games can be plenty laggy. I'd always found the FR games at WPEX to be similar to the FR games at the Crypto sites - pretty weak tight with a few TAGs thrown in. I'm starting to see a bigger difference now.

OK, I was gonna say. You must not play there too often. These players are EXTREMELY wreckless and super aggressive here. Since they have 100%rakeback they can afford it too.
