"To guarantee that we stay ahead of the competition we’ve made it easier to clear the Monthly Match Deposit Reward, while still giving you up to $100 every month!
We’ve done this by changing the definition of a Raked Hand – they are now easier and quicker to accumulate! AND you’ll still only have to play x5 (five) your reward in raked hands to clear it! "
..."Change in “Raked Hand” Definition
The definition of a Raked Hand at InterPoker is changing to make it easier and quicker for you to clear both the Monthly Match Reward and the first time player sign up bonus.
From 1st September 2006, all hands played on 1 / 2 Unit ($/£/€) tables and above, where ANY rake is taken will count as a raked hand.
Hands played on tournament tables or tables less than 1 Unit ($/£/€) will not count."
Well no more bonus clearing in micro stakes. Now we don't need 500 Mpp's.We need 500 raked hand at 1-2unit or above.I personally couldn't decide if it is good or bad.1-2$ limit games are uber-rock gardens at crypto.I can't imagine myself 4-tabling those games for hours.I may have to give the 100$ monthly bonus to a shrink to bring me back to normal after that.
I have sent an e-mail to interpoker telling how unfair this is for omaha players like me.They don't have any omaha games running at 1-2 level. So they are forcing omaha players to play limit or NL games.I also told them 1-2 limit game isn't equal to 1-2 NL game in terms of difficulty, players and bankroll requirements.I'll share their reply with you here.

the bonus was extremely tough to clear below 1/2 for LHE anyways, so for LHE players, this is fantastic. Interpoker generally does a reload or two a month in addition to the monthly ones. at 5x raked hands, this is an unbelievably good bonus.
i would be surprised if Inter could not be convinced to lower the requirements to .25/.5 or .5/1 for NL or PL games, perhaps with a minimum rake of 0.25. seems like that'd be in their best interest.

This might change though. We could see a lot of .5/1 players move up just so that they have a chance to clear the bonus.
This sounds very profitable, at least for the first couple weeks.

They confirmed that NL and omaha players will have to play at least 1-2$ stakes games too to clear the bonus.

See its not about the MPP's anymore. Its about the raked hands. They will start showing the number of raked hands you play on 22th september.Untill then just e-mail and ask how many you have played so far. It's all written in the notice.

This blows for the NL players, I play .50/1.00 and now I can't clear the bonuses. LAME!!! Their site was always good for $160 bucks or so in bonus and rake back every month.

Meh, I don't care, the 32% rakeback and the worst players europe has to offer is enough to keep me pounding on the micro-donks.
Plus, its nice to have action if I actually get up early on a Saturday or Sunday and feel like playing.
Looove those euros!!
