A helpful detail, yes, but either way, I think the turn is a push or fold
type of situation. You need to decide right here if you're going to run
your bluff for your whole stack, because right now is the only time you
will have any fold equity. If you flat call, then push the river, the pot
will already be big enough for this guy to call you with most reasonable
hands.

I'm guessing he had a nasty little TJ.

In which case, flat-calling sounds good, and I'd probably lead the river with a value bet. Villain's raise and turn overbet makes me think A9 or big clubs.

Bumped. I put my hand in up top now.

Damn, and that complicates things.

Probably fold flop. Call turn. C/f UI on riv.

Complicates? I'm pretty sure on the flop I had the best hand, I really just wasn't sure if I should re-pop it then or wait for the turn.

I'll be honest, folding never really crossed my mind.

Given that it's blind vs. blind, it's hard to tell, but, what did you put villain on? He certainly seems to like his hand. This is 5-handed, but even then, top pair with a middling kicker isn't really worth going to war with is it(even with backdoor straight and flush draws)? Did you have any reads on him from earlier?

If you think you have the best hand, and are not gonna fold on the river, why not push the turn?

Villain has like $215 left.

Push, AINEC.

The only hand I was thinking he might have that might make it worth a repop on the flop would be Ac Xc that he could raise with. But given that thought, I don't know how aggressive he is, so checking the turn could let him take a free card.

Maybe I'm just a sicko but for some reason on the turn I thought he was full of chit, and now with my improved hand to a draw I decided to push.

Let me just get a few K hands in at friggen full before I jump into that.

I've only got 11,500ish in at FR, and only like 8k in at 100NL, and I've been playing like a retard calling station for a few buyins of that, so I want to get that down before I venture to the high variance world of SH...

It's nice to see my instincts are coming around to what a lot of you guys are posting though.
DonkSlayer
Putting this guy on a big draw certainly is ballsy, considering we have no read. I thought he was protecting a QJ or something like that.

Why not re-pop the flop if we think we're ahead? We have to hate a lot of cards that turn on us if we think we're ahead and the villain isn't on air.

And, thinking more, a push is probably better than a call on the turn. We're certainly not going anywhere after that turn, though.
