Yes, there is a chance we're good. You bet so small on the flop, I can see KQ taking one off.

I think a raise to 18 is in order to get rid of the CO and get a free river showdown. If you get reraised, you can fold it having lost only 1/3 of your stack and ready to triple up on the next hand when you get AA vs KK vs KK.

Why are we checking the turn?

no, we are not good here. fold and expect to see 9s and 8s, or three 8s, or kings and 9s. best case i think you're up against another AK.

Why are we checking the turn?

Btw, bet $4 on the flop.

Bet more on the flop or don't bet at all. You have no idea where you are, and it's going to cost you a lot to find out. The reverse implied odds in this situation call for a fold. If you have the best hand you are probably going to win the pot with a raise, but if you are behind then you are probably going to get stacked.

Gotta definitely make a bigger C-Bet on the flop. If your going to bet $2 you might as well check. There is a chance we are good here but I don't like the action.

Hm... Check on the turn is to induce a bluff? A standard follow through bet with any paint doenst look nearly as suspicious as a CR which i'm guessing you were going to do had it not been 2 bet, although credit for mixing it up *shrug*. Anyway, youre beating KQ and JT (and KJ which is less likely i think) but not very far ahead of JT, and pretty far behind K9 and K8 which arent too far out there. 98 and a set have you too. I think I fold unless you got a read.

I think I'd make it $16 instead, but I do like the raise here.

I'm not going to worry about how you got there, b/c that's just not the question.

K9 has you beat. I don't think anyone else would really have a bigger hand than that on this turn, because we would've gotten raised on the flop. Flat-call floppers are making me think that MP1 stuck around with overcards and CO has A-9 or something.

You'll find out. Fold to a push. If MP1 calls, bet out as much as you'd be willing to call if you checked and he bet.
