Madison Bumgarner makes me incredibly hard. 145 Ks, 20 BB, 3 HRs in 130.3 innings in A Ball as a 18 year old. Baseball Prospectus translates his peripherals into a 4.17 ERA right now as an 18 year old in the majors. All you baseball fans get on the bandwagon now before he blows up like Clayton Kershaw.

Fire Sabean before he packages him with a few other prospects to reacquire AJ.

lol , so sad but so true.

Lol what a shock. Play the young farm system and we win.

Randy Johnson signs with the Giants for one year and 8 million.

Not a bad signing I think. Should get some help from playing in that ballpark at least. Though I guess that might be offset by the team's offense.

I saw this on ESPN last night. I guess this means that Lowery isn't going to be back for next season. I wish Sabean would sign someone who had the actual ability to bat over .270, 60 rbi's and 12 homeruns in a full season.

Great signing by the Giants. I love their offseason so far besides the Renteria signing. They could actually win the division next year.

And with the SF Giants, that's unfortunately about as high as you can sets your hopes for every year. smile.gif

If the Dodgers don't sign Manny, I think the Giants have a decent shot. I'm not really that impressed with the Johnson signing, but the young pitching should be as good if not better then it was last year.

patrick, if you say the Giants have a shot, then I actually have hope. smile.gif

i hope this is sebean's last year and we can actually get a GM that can sign someone under the age of 35.

Sabean actually hasn't been that bad lately. Hes had a good offseason and the farm system is better now that it ever has been under him.
GeneralGeeWhiz
stupid articles like this one sucks me back into believing that the Giants might win. And what did Sebean say about Manny having warts or something?

And our projected starters at second scare the sh!t out of me:
8. 2B Kevin Frandsen, Emmanuel Burriss or Eugenio Velez. (puke)

I would rather put J. Uribe there over all three of them.

San Francisco AB R H RBI BB SO LOB AVG
Ishikawa, 1B 3 2 3 4 0 0 0 1.000

his two hits were homeruns. smile.gif
