He could have a lot of things here, and he's playing most of them badly with that bet. I raise/fold, but I'm relative sure I'm ahead.

I don't like raise fold

if he's donk betting

why not just call down? It costs just as much as raise folding (2bb) and you get information on the guy.

I like raise/fold better, because you would certainly knock out the button with a hand like QJ. Plus you can get a value bet in on the river if they just call.

very good point

I think my line should be used if you have no info on the guy - which I would use since I dont' know why the hell he's donkbetting tongue.gif

I definitely use line sometimes to gain information, but I'm usually going raise/fold.

I've never understood why people fear the funky gaybet.

I welcome the opportunity to thin the field by facing everyone else with 2-cold on the turn.
Our chances of this vulnerable Top Pair hand holding up are a lot better versus 1 opponent than against 3.

If SB has a hand that beats us, check-raising this turn would put us in a much more confusing situation.
If the rest of the field called out turn bet, then they likely would have called his turn check-raise as well.
Then with the pot so big at that point, everyone would be tempted to see the river.
And our winning chances would be very small.

My Point: getting gaybet in this situation is the best thing that could have happened to us.
