I have been so busy with closing on my house that I have not joined any real money leagues. This is atrocious and should not be tolerated. The only real money league with openings I have seen on here is sloshr's and their draft time is no good for me.

Are there any others on here?

Edit: Okay I found one, so I won't go crazy and create my own unless there are several other desperate and upset people on here looking for a money league smile.gif

I got Direct NFL Ticket and I need me some fantasy football!

I would like to join a real money league as long as it's reasonable. If you decide to start one up, I'd be interested.

Im in for $25 or less...

Im gonna get sloshr in this thread - his league still needs a few teams so they will postpone the draft to accomodate late entries to fill it up.

Hi guys. We do have some openings in our league. We are trying something different this year. It is $60, but we are giving money to the high score each week, so there are a lot of chances to get at least some of your money back. If we get 10 teams, it will be $15 per week to the high score, with the rest of the money going to the winners of the league. We keep nothing, except what we win. The draft is currently scheduled for this Saturday, but it will be changed, probably some time Labor Day weekend, because we only have 7 teams so far and one of them (Yoda) cannot make it on Saturday.

Why is this league is different from others? We are trying an idea from the Sports Guy in ESPN magazine, where we play all 17 weeks of regular season head to head, then the top 4 make the playoffs. Playoff teams can keep 6 players from their team, then have a 5 round mini-draft, with the top seed picking first in all rounds, to get their teams to 11 players. The rosters are then locked and scored through the playoffs, including the Super Bowl, and the top score will be the winner. Also, to beef up the prize pool (and satisy our commissioner, who likes to always pick first) we allow bidding for draft position. The highest bid gets first pick, followed by 2nd, etc, and whoever doesn't bid is assigned randomly among the remaining spots. This bid money gets added to the prizes, and costs nothing to people who don't really care where they draft. The last pick goes first in the 2nd round anyway, so picking first is not that big of an advantage.

We added a lot of ways to score points, with generous points for yardage, including bonuses for passing for 300 yds or rushing/receiving for 100 yds. We also added a point per reception to make receivers more valuable.

PM me or email to sloshr@yahoo.com if you are interested, and I will give you the league # and password.
